Cookie Policy

Last updated · June 1, 2026

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics until you accept. If you do, we use a single, privacy-friendly tool — Matomo — that we host ourselves. Nothing here is shared with any third party.

The short version: Decline and nothing is stored or tracked. Accept and we set a couple of Matomo cookies so we can count visits — self-hosted, IP-anonymized, never sold or shared. You can change your mind any time.

1. What we use

We use Matomo, an open-source analytics tool running on our own server at analytics.fizteq.com. It helps us see which pages are useful and how people find the site. Your IP address is anonymized, the data never leaves our server, and we don't share or sell it. The analytics script is only downloaded and run after you accept.

2. What gets stored — only if you accept

When you click Accept, Matomo sets these first-party cookies:

We also store a small value, fizpdf_analytics_consent, in your browser's local storage to remember your choice (this one is saved whether you accept or decline — it's strictly necessary to honor your decision, so it needs no consent).

3. If you decline

No Matomo script is loaded, no analytics cookies are set, and nothing about your visit is recorded. The site works exactly the same.

4. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your mind whenever you like — it's as easy as giving consent in the first place:

This re-opens the banner so you can accept or decline. Clearing your browser's site data for this site also resets everything.

5. No third parties

Matomo is self-hosted, so analytics data stays with us and is never sent to Google, advertising networks, or anyone else. The website loads no third-party trackers, fonts, or embeds.

6. Changes & contact

If we change how cookies are used, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date. Questions? Email contact@fizteq.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
